2015 High School Scholarship Essay Contest

PSR/Sacramento congratulates winners of the
2015 Scholarship Essay Contest

We received 170 entries this year from high school seniors in Sacramento and surrounding counties describing their thoughts on the words of United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, who said,

“The world is over-armed, and peace is under-funded.”

The winners in this year’s contest, chosen by a panel of distinguished judges at the essay contest finals on April 26, are:

Third Place ($2,000 Scholarship)Sara Chang, Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, Rocklin
